Bharat-EU Trade and Technology Council ka pehla Workshop Electric Vehicles (EV) Charging Technology par, Standardisation aur Sustainable Mobility mein naye advancements ka raasta kholta hai.

The EU aur Bharat apni partnership ko aur gehra kar rahe hain, ek naye strategic agenda ke hisse ke taur par, prosperity, stability, security aur people-to-people connections ko badhane ke liye, jismein research ke area mein cooperation ek dynamic contribution lata hai.

Pehla Bharat-EU Workshop Electric Vehicles Charging Technology par Pune, Bharat mein, 24th Feb 2025 ko Bharat-EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC) Working Group 2 on Green and Clean Energy Technologies ke antargat hua, jismein policy-makers, electro-mobility industry ke representatives, standardisation associations aur technical testing facilities ek saath aaye, sustainable transport ke liye harmonised solutions ko badhane ke liye. Workshop mein Dr. Monoranjan Mohanty (Adviser) aur Dr. Hafsa Ahmad (Scientist) Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to Government of Bharat se, Dr. Reji Mathai (Director) aur Mr. Abhijit Mulay (Deputy Director) Automotive Research Association of Bharat se aur Mr. Nitish Kumar Jain, Deputy Director, Bureau of Indian Standards se shamil hue. European Commission se participants mein Dr. Liliana Pasecinic, Dr. Harald Scholz, Mr. Dirk Groβmann aur Dr. Saki Gerassis shamil the, jo online jude. Bharat aur European industry ke stakeholders ne bhi workshop mein actively participate kiya.

Yeh workshop TTC Working Group 2 ke work agenda mein milestones mein se ek raha hai aur aane wali 2nd TTC Ministerial meeting mein jo New Delhi mein 28th Feb 2025 ko hogi, achievement ke taur par discuss kiya jayega. Automotive Research Association of Bharat (ARAI) aur European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) dwara organise kiya gaya, Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (PSA) to the Government of Bharat ke support se, workshop ne EV charging ke key policy aur technical aspects ko address kiya, electric vehicles ke sabhi size classes ko cover karte hue, aur standardisation aur strategic cooperation par focus karte hue. Workshop mein expert presentations, policy dialogues aur panel discussions hue, jo critical topics ko cover karte hain jaise ki:

EU aur Bharatiya charging standards, infrastructure requirements, communication aur interoperability targets ke liye requirements;

Bharat aur EU mein sustainable mobility mein future strategic directions ke baare mein insights, potential synergies jo economies of scale tak le jaate hain;

EV Charging system testing capabilities aur pre-normative research, ARAI aur JRC facilities par focus ke saath;

EV-charging mein Bharat-EU collaboration ko badhane ke liye industry perspectives.

Workshop ne EV charging infrastructure ke liye standards ko harmonise karne par bilateral cooperation ko gehra karne ka mauka diya, cooperative, pre-normative research harmonised testing solutions ke liye aur electro-mobility ke field mein knowledge exchange ke saath. Additionally, participants ko ARAI laboratory visit karne ka mauka diya gaya, Bharat ke state-of-the-art EV aur electro-mobility testing facilities ka first-hand exposure lene ke liye.

Bharat aur EU dwara set up kiye gaye Trade and Technology Council ke baare mein:

Bharat-EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC) pehle European Commission President, Ursula von der Leyen, aur Bharat ke Pradhan Mantri, Narendra Modi, ne April 2022 mein announce kiya tha. 6 February 2023 ko establish hua, yeh strategic coordination mechanism dono sides ko trade, trusted technology aur security ke nexus par challenges se nipatne aur in fields mein cooperation ko gehra karne ki anumati deta hai. Bharat-EU TTC establish karna Bharat aur EU mein sabhi logon ke fayde ke liye ek strengthened strategic partnership ki taraf ek key step hai.

TTC dono partners ke beech trade aur technology par strategic partnership ko gehra karne ke liye ek key forum hai. Geostrategic challenges ne EU aur Bharat ke shared values par based security, prosperity aur sustainable development sunishchit karne mein common interest ko reinforce kiya hai.

TTC mein teen Working Groups hain:

Working Group 1 on Strategic Technologies, Digital Governance and Digital Connectivity

Working Group 2 on Green and Clean Energy Technologies; aur  

Working Group 3 on Trade, Investment and Resilient Value Chains.

Working Groups ab identified objectives aur key actions ko advance karne ke liye jointly kaam kar rahe hain. Bharat-EU TTC Working Group 2 on Green and Clean Energy Technologies ko Bharatiya side se Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of Bharat aur EU side se Directorate-General for Research and Innovation of the European Commission lead kar rahe hain.

Dono sides 2025 mein Ministerial level par next TTC Meeting mein is area mein initiatives jaise ki EV mobility mein Standardisation Strategy aur trustable testing possibilities par is workshop ke through hui progress par report karne ki ummeed karte hain.
