Divyang-jan Ko Milenga Bal: ALIMCO Ka Pehla AAPC Tripura Mein! 🦾🌱

North-East ke PwDs (Persons with Disabilities) aur senior citizens ke liye accessibility aur welfare services ko behtar karne ke ek badhte kadam mein, Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO), jo Social Justice aur Empowerment Ministry ke under kaam karta hai, apna pehla Auxiliary Production Centre (AAPC) Tripura ke Sepahijala District mein Purba Laxmibill mein launch karne wala hai. Ye project North-East mein assistive devices ki kami ko dur karega aur government ke “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” ke vision ko support karega.

₹45 crore ke investment se banne wali ye facility advanced assistive technologies jaise AI-wale prosthetic limbs, motorized wheelchairs, hearing aids, aur customized orthopedic devices banayegi. Yahan eco-friendly practices, jaise solar-powered units aur waste recycling, bhi use honge. Isse region mein production capacity teen guna badhegi, aur local logo ko 200+ direct/indirect jobs milengi, jisse youth, women, aur Divyangjan ko fayda hoga. Ye initiative UN ke Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) ke saath bhi jura hai.

1 March 2025 ko Bhumi Pujan ceremony hogi, jisme Tripura CM Dr. Manik Saha, Union Minister B.L. Verma, Social Welfare Minister Tinku Roy, MP Biplab Dev, aur MLA Sushanta Deb shamil honge. Event mein assistive tech ka demo aur NGOs/experts ke saath inclusive development par discussion hoga.

Tripura Government ne is project ke liye 5 acres zameen allocate ki hai, aur ALIMCO ne IIT Guwahati ke saath milkar monsoon-resistant mobility aids develop kiye hain. Ek mobile unit bhi banayi jayegi jo remote areas tak PwDs tak devices pahunchayegi. ALIMCO ka naya 3D-printed prosthetic limb (jo mountains ke liye perfect hai) bhi yahan produce hoga.

Ye AAPC future mein Manipur, Nagaland jaise states mein bhi banaye jaane ki planning ka hissa hai. Beneficiaries ab UDID portal se devices request kar sakte hain, aur order tracking digital ho gaya hai. Government ka target hai ki 2030 tak North-East ke 2.5 lakh PwDs tak barrier-free access pahunchaye.

Chhote points bhi yaad rakhna:

  • Tribal communities (Tripura ki 30% population) ko priority milegi.
  • NIEPMD, Chennai ke saath collaboration mein ek training hub banega, jahan local technicians ko assistive devices maintain karne ki training di jayegi.
  • Ye project Accessible India Campaign aur $5 trillion economy ke goals ko support karta hai.

Modi government ka ye kadam North-East ke logon ke liye “hope ki nayi kirn” hai, jahan innovation aur inclusivity desh ke vikas ka raasta dikha rahe hain! 🇮🇳
